Tuesday was another super day at Camp Grassick!  It was a windy day but we enjoyed it because the wind finally blew some of those pesky mosquitoes away!  It was a little gray in the morning but we never did get any rain and the afternoon was warm and sunny.

We practiced our weaving skills in crafts by making bowls out of yarn woven onto plastic frames.  Rec for the day included a few games of capture the flag.  It is fun to see everyone so busy and working hard in their different classes.

We were able to go in for general swim.  Some campers really love windy days because they can jump into the waves and "ride the waves" as they float.  As long as it's warm, it can be a lot of fun!

After a delicious spaghetti supper (always a camp favorite), we had relay races for our evening activity.  The relays included running, skipping, walking backwards, balancing a book on our heads, kicking a soccer ball, balancing a softball on a spoon and hitting a soccer ball with a hockey stick.  Some of them were pretty hard (imagine a book on your head with a strong North Dakota wind blowing!) but everyone was a good sport and had fun participating and cheering on their teammates.
