It's been so crazy around here I haven't even had time to update this!  Tuesday was a very rainy day at camp.  It is definitely not fun when it is cold and rainy but we assured the kids that it was raining all over the state so they were not missing sun at home.

In Rec, the campers had a game day with basketball, ping pong and board games.  It was too rainy for waterfront of course so the kids did different activities. I heard there was even a fashion show with a couple cabins.  In crafts, we made beaded necklaces or bracelets.

During general swim time, the campers set up for the night's carnival.  Each cabin is in charge of a booth.  They decorated their areas with streamers and posters and made them look great!

After supper we had the carnival.  There was ring toss, bean bag throw, a fishing pond, basketball, bowling, and the can throw.  I did some face painting and Dan had an arm wrestling booth.  Do you know that some kids have beaten Dan 10 years in a row?  He better start lifting weights over the winter!

The campers take turns working in the booth while the others go around and play all the games.  It was such a fun and busy night that I didn't even take any pictures!

Wednesday morning started off a little cloudy but the sun did eventually come out.  It was a busy day because we had a film crew out at Camp.  They are making a commercial for the North Dakota Elks and wanted some video of all the activities at Camp.  We were learning about film making and getting the perfect shot.  Cabin 8 had to raise and lower the flag many times until the film crew got it just right.  I can't wait to see the finished commercial sometime this winter.

We did get in for general swim in the afternoon.  It was nice to see the sun for awhile!

We had a special treat for the night activity.  Two bands made up of local teenagers came out to perform for us and we combined it with a favorite activity, pajama dance!  The campers more their pajamas and danced to some awesome music.  These are some very talented area youth and it is so awesome that they come out and share their talents with us.  The campers loved it!  They surely slept well after so much dancing and probably still had music ringing in their ears!
