I was just doing Tuesday's post and I realized this one was empty.  I don't understand computers; I'm sure it was here before!  I will try to remember everything we did!

Sunday - Happy Father's Day!  We had a good day out at Camp.  It was our visitor's day so we had a lot of families and friends stop by for a visit or take their kids out and about for the day.

In the morning, we had some free time and just enjoyed the beautiful day by playing in the park or at the basketball courts.  After lunch, we had a short kickball game but it didn't last very long since it was hot out there!

After trading post, we enjoyed swimming for the rest of the afternoon.  It was a great day to be at the lake.  Lots of campers were in swimming and we also took out the kayaks and paddle boats.

That evening, we had our church service in the rec hall and then had a campfire.  Everyone loves singing campfire songs and you can't beat the smell of a fire burning on a beautiful summer night.

Monday was a little cooler.  We had our regular classes through out the day but we didn't go in swimming.  During our swim times, the campers wrote essays about why they love Camp Grassick.  I can't wait to read all of them - it sounds like we had some awesome writers!

During general swim time, we had some races.  Boy do we have some fast runners!  Glad I didn't have to race anyone - I would have been left in the dust!

For our evening activity, the campers watched some short videos while the non counseling staff hid Easter eggs.  I know we are out of season, but a giant Easter egg hunt was pretty fun!  The eggs were hidden all over the play ground and rec field.  The campers had to look high and low because the eggs were hidden everywhere from in the trees to buried in the wood chips on the playground!  The eggs even had small prizes in them so it was a good night!
