Friday the 13th wasn't an unlucky day for us! In fact, most of the campers would probably say it was their lucky day because we FINALLY got to go swimming again!  It wasn't a super warm day, but the sun came out enough to warm it up for a short swim this afternoon.  Many brave souls ventured in to the water, at least for part of the time.
Today was tye dye day in crafts which is always a favorite.  We are looking forward to seeing all the colorful creations next week after they have been washed.  It's hard to be patient about these things!
Tonight's activity was Special Olympics.  We did the standing long jump, softball throw, free throws and the "75 yard" dash.  We aren't sure of the exact distance on that one but we sure have some fast kids! And the arms on these softball throwers - whew, I'm sure glad I wasn't catching!
We are looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow since it's Saturday and having a relaxing weekend!
