Today was another beautiful day at Camp!  It was warm and sunny with a nice breeze to keep away the bugs!

The campers got to take some pontoon rides during their swimming time so they were all pretty excited for that.  I heard some reports that the lifeguard wasn't so good at parking but she is learning fast!  We had a good time at general swim too with many campers swimming and some taking kayak rides with staff.

Tonight's activity was Special Olympics.  We had so many participants that we only had time for two events tonight!  It was great to see everyone doing the events and cheering for their cabin mates and friends.  We did the standing long jump first.  Our record was Mikey with 79"!  I'm pretty sure he jumped farther than I am tall!  Our next event was the softball throw and boy do these kids have arms!  I'm glad it was our rec staff out fielding those balls and not me! We even had Cabin 4W show up in matching purple bandanas - they had some spirit!

We will have to finish our other events another time - we still have basketball and races to look forward to!  Tonight is Cabin 24's camp out and I know they are excited!
