Did you work at Elks Camp Grassick?
Elks Camp Grassick Alumni Association is a loose organization of former Camp Grassick employees who try to support the camp. If you aren't getting the newsletter, contact us at address below. We would appreciate hearing from you.
Newsletter
Twice a year we put out a staff alumni newsletter highlighting the goings on at Camp Grassick, along with blurbs on where former staff are now and articles written by staff reminiscing about their favorite times at camp.
Spring Cleanup Weekend
Each spring, usually on a weekend between Mothers' Day and Memorial Day weekend, former staff are invited to help get the campgrounds raked and cleaned up for the summer camping sessions. It's a lot of fun and a chance to reconnect with old friends and relive great summers from your youth. Details are usually anounced in the spring issue of the newsletter.
Elks Day
Remember all the work you put into Elks Day? Painting the backdrop, making costumes and props, helping kids practice skits and songs, all those people who converged on camp and got a free picnic?
Now it's your turn to come back and enjoy the day: watch the play without worrying about your campers freezing up right before they go on, leisurely feast on that great pit-barbequed beef without having to keep track of half a dozen energized campers... you can just relax and enjoy. It's a great opportunity to get together with old friends from camp and to show your family where you spent some summers.
Support
Former staff support camp by offering their skills, making donations and donating time to help out at the Spring Cleanup weekend. Whatever you can do to help Elks Camp Grassick continue in its service to special needs children and adults of North Dakota will be greatly appreciated.
